Insert your USB token or smart card containing your qualified certificate. Qsign detects it automatically.

Enter your token PIN and sign. Qsign applies your certificate to the document, producing a legally binding, eIDAS-compliant signed PDF.

Legal Framework

Built on the
eIDAS standard

Qsign works with certificates that conform to EU Regulation No 910/2014 (eIDAS) — the European standard for electronic identification and trust services. Your certificate lives on your physical token; Qsign is the client that applies it to documents.

Under eIDAS, a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. It is automatically recognized and legally binding across all 27 EU member states, as well as the EEA countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein).

Qsign is fully compatible with B-Trust — Bulgaria's leading Qualified Trust Service Provider operated by BORICA AD — and works with any eIDAS-compliant certificate on a physical token or smart card across the EU.
